Top News and Magazines Apps on Android in Poland: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, several News and Magazines apps on the Android platform in Poland showed distinct performance trends. Here's a closer look at the top five apps based on Sensor Tower data.

X (Formerly Twitter) saw a steady weekly revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at around $4.5K in early June. Downloads were notably high in early May, reaching 40.8K, while active users fluctuated, starting at 1.7M and peaking at 1.9M before settling at 1.6M by the end of June.

Upday | Local & World News experienced a significant increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with a peak of 13K in the final week of June. Active users gradually increased from 9.6K to 11.4K throughout the quarter.

TVN24 had a notable spike in downloads in late April, reaching 11.3K, before declining to a few hundred weekly. However, its active user base grew consistently, peaking at 35.1K in early June before slightly declining.

Opera News: breaking & local maintained a moderate download rate with a peak of 4.2K in the last week of June. The app's active users increased from 34.2K to 43.2K over the quarter, showing a positive trend.

Radio Republika displayed a stable download pattern with minor fluctuations, while active users decreased from 23.4K in early April to 18.5K at the end of June.
